Stockport’s successful Portas Pilot bid in 2012 secured funding to help breathe life back into the town centre, with particular focus on the Market & Underbanks. Since then the area has seen a slow-but-steady revival thanks to the hard work of dedicated individuals and businesses, and the support of Stockport Council. A Laugh In Stockport is delighted to be returning to the Market Place – at Seven Miles Out – having previously held comedy nights in the Bulls Head (currently closed. Do something about that, Robbies…)
Here are just a few of the marvellous things that you can find in Stockport Old Town.
